After months of threats and years of physical abuse a terrified mother calls emergency services when her estranged husband turns up with a gun.  She fears for her life as her violent husband unexpectedly returns to the family home.  On calling the emergency services for help, an axious operator tries to comfort and reassure her that help is on the way.  As the noises get closer and closer to discovering her hiding place, she realises that her son is home.

Contrasting photos of domestic bliss and old family videos with a harrowing dialogue, the film captures a nightmarish moment in a mother’s life.
